Best Home Run Prop Bets – MLB Free HR Props Picks
Nolan Arenado (STL) +800
Arenado only has seven home runs this season, but today, he was a matchup against a pitcher he has seen well. Arenado is batting .272 against righties on the season, and five of his seven home runs have come against right-handed pitching. He has a 107 wCR+, a .317 BABIP, and a .105 ISO against righties. Given these splits and the fact he is facing a righty, this is one of the best home run prop bets on the board.
Arenado is 8-15 in his career against Michael Wacha with four home runs, and we expect Arenado to get the best of him. Wacha has allowed eight home runs this season, and three have come against right-handed batters. Arenado’s success against Wacha and the Royal’s poor bullpen makes this one of the best home run prop bets today.
Jorge Soler (SF) +400
Jorge Soler is not having the power season he expected, but we like his matchup to go yard today. Soler has not gone yard since July 2nd, but this is an excellent matchup for him to go to the yard again today. Soler has ten home runs this season, and his 11th should be in his sights today at home. This is one of the best home run prop bets on the board.
Yusei Kikuchi is making the start for the Blue Jays on the road. Kikuchi has been decent this season, and he has allowed 13 home runs this season, and 10 of them have come from right-handed batters. Soler is 3-8 in his career against Kikuchi with two home runs, and he has a 101.1-MPH exit velocity, meaning he is hitting the ball hard. We expect him to get the better of Kikuchi today and lift a baseball for one of the best home run prop bets on the board.
