Vinnie Pasquantino (KC) +480
Vinnie Pasquantino is heating up, and he has a great matchup to go yard today. Pasquantino has two home runs in his last four games. On the season, Pasquantino is batting just .226 against righties, but six of his seven home runs have come against right-handed pitching. He has a 106 wCR+, a .229 BABIP, and a .201 ISO against righties. Given these splits and the fact he is facing a righty, this is one of the best home run prop bets on the board.
Pasquantino is 0-3 in his career off of Triston McKenzie with a strikeout, but we expect him to add a home run to that today. He has an average exit velocity of 95.4 miles per hour and an average launch angle of 2.5 degrees off of Gibson. He hit the ball hard, but he needs to elevate. Seven of the 11 home runs McKenzie has allowed this season have come against left-handed batters, making this one of the best home run prop bets on the board today.
Shohei Ohtani (LAD) +290
Shohei Ohtani has not hit a home run in his last three games, but we like him to add to his season tally tonight on the road against the Pirates. Ohtani has 14 home runs this season, and his 15th should be in his sights today on the road. Ohtani has a great matchup today.
Jared Jones is making the start for the Pirates at their home park. Jones has been amazing, but he has allowed 11 home runs this season, and six of them have come to left-handed batters. Ohtani has never seen Jones before, but we expect the veteran to get the better of the rookie, making this one of the best home run prop bets on the board.
