Best Home Run Prop Bets – MLB Free HR Props Picks
Francisco Lindor (NYM) +390
Lindor has six home runs already this season, and it feels like he has not even fully hit his stride yet. After a sluggish start, Lindor has been hitting the ball much better. Lindor is only batting .195 against right-handed pitching, but he has five of his six home runs against righties. Lindor is 5-14 in his career off of Mikolas with two doubles, but today, we expect him to hit the long ball, making this one of the best home run prop bets on the board.
Last season, Mikolas allowed 15 of his 26 home runs to lefties, and this season, he has allowed two of his seven home runs to lefties. Still, left-handed batters are doing better against him than lefties are, and Mikolas still allows the long ball at one of the higher rates in the MLB.
Mitch Haniger (STL) +520
Mitch Haniger is not an everyday player, but when he is in the lineup, he provides some major pop for Seattle, and we like him to go yard today on the road. Haniger has just four home runs this season, and he has not hit one since April 26th, so he is due. All four of Haniger’s home runs this season have come off of right-handed pitching.
Bailey Ober has allowed just four home runs so far this season, but Hanigar has a great history against him. Hanigar is 2-4 against Ober with a home run and a double. The Twins bullpen has been solid at not allowing home runs, so Haniger will need to attack early. Hanigar has the history and the matchup to go yard, making him one of the best home run prop bets of the day.
