Best Home Run Prop Bets – MLB Free HR Props Picks

Jake Fraley (CIN) +600

Reds outfielder Jake Fraley isn’t seeing nearly the success as he did last season playing more of a part time role but he has increased his batting average and slugging percentage from May – July.

He and Cincinnati will see Kyle Hendricks on the mound tonight who has also had much more success in season’s past. He’s just 2-9 this season with a 7.49 ERA away from Wrigley Field while giving up 11 of his 16 home runs away from Chicago as well.

Fraley is a lefty in which Hendricks as struggled against as well giving up 11 of his 16 home runs to left handed hitters while allowing a .307 batting average.

Hendricks has given up three home runs across his last two starts (10 IP) with the Great American Ballpark coming in top 10 in home runs allowed this season of all MLB stadiums.

The Reds have already taken two straight from Chicago this series as it looks like the Cubs may have thrown the white flag up on this season losing five of their last seven games and now dead last in the NL Central.

Neither of Fraley’s two home runs have come at home but we feel that may change tonight. Take Fraley to hit a home run at +600 with Elly De La Cruz a solid home run pick as well at +400 odds.

Kevin Pillar (LAA) +475

Kevin Pillar got the day off in the Angels 10-7 series opening win over the Rockies last night as these two go head-to-head again tonight.

Pillar isn’t known as a home run hitter but has had substantial success against lefties this season and against Rockies starter Kyle Freeland in his career.

All-time he’s 7-14 with two home runs off Freeland and this season is batting .375 against lefties with three of his seven home runs coming against lefties in 37 less at bats than he’s taken against righties on the season.

Freeland has been atrocious on the road this season generating a 9.96 ERA away from Coors Field while allowing seven of eight total home runs given up as well in just 28 innings pitched.

That’s one home run allowed every four innings! It also doesn’t help he’s given up all eight home runs against right handed bats as well.

Take Pillar to hit a home run at +475 with Brandon Drury being another potential home run hitter at +450 going 7-16 against Freeland in his career with a home run.
