Best Home Run Prop Bets – MLB Free HR Props Picks
Juan Soto (NYY) +450
Soto did not hit one out yesterday when we road him, but we are going back to the well.
Juan Soto’s start to his Yankee career couldn’t be going much better, and tonight, we like Juan to go yard. Soto has nine home runs this season, and though he’s had two underwhelming series back-to-back, we like him to regain his form. Tonight, he gets an amazing matchup against the Twins. Soto is batting .315 against right-handed pitching, and seven of his nine homers have come off a righty. Soto is 10-35 in his career off of Pablo Lopez with three home runs, and we expect him to hit the long ball again, making this one of the best home run prop bets on the board.
Last season, Pablo Lopez allowed 13 of 24 home runs to left-handed batters. This season, he has allowed three of his six home runs to lefties. Lopez has allowed a .290 BABIP to left-handed batters this season, has a 1.00 WHIP, and a .233 batting average against.
Eloy Jimenez (CWS) +460
Eloy Jimenez’s power has never been in question, and since coming back from injury, he has been raking. Over his last six games, Jimenez has notched three doubles and a home run. All five of his home runs far have come against right-handed pitchers, but we expect him to tag a left-handed pitcher today at home.
Patrick Corbin has allowed four home runs so far this season, and righties have three of those four home runs. Jimenez is 2-2 against Corbin, with a home run and a double. He has an average exit velocity of 108.8 miles per hour and an average launch angle of 18 degrees. Jimenez’s success against Nola, his current form, and the good weather in Chicago make this one of the best home run prop bets of the day.
