J.T. Realmuto (PHI) +560
J.T. Realmuto has been killing left-handed pitching this season, and we expect him to continue his momentum today. On the season, Realmuto is batting .361 against lefties with three home runs, a 179 wCR+, a .442 BABIP, and a .213 ISO. Given these splits and the fact he is facing a lefty, this is one of the best home run prop bets on the board.
Realmuto is 0-2 in his career off of Kyle Harrison with a strikeout, but we expect him to add a home run to that today. He has an average exit velocity of 95.1 miles per hour and an average launch angle of 63 degrees off of Harrison. Six of the seven home runs Harrison has allowed this season have come against right-handed batters. Harrison has a higher FIP, HR/9, WHIP and xFIP against righties.
Freddie Freeman (LAD) +560
Freddie Freeman is not having one of his better seasons so far, but tonight, he has a great matchup to hit a home run. Freeman has six home runs, and his 7th should be in his sights today in New York. Freeman had a double yesterday, and we like him again today.
David Peterson is making his season debut today at home. Last season, Peterson allowed 16 home runs and five of them were against left-handed batters. He had a 4.29 FIP and a 1.67 HR/9 against lefties. Freeman is 5-15 in his career against Peterson with two home runs, an average exit velocity of 96.3 miles per hour, and a 12.8-degree launch angle. Given the history, this is one of the best home run prop bets on the board.
