Best NRFI Bets Today – Free NRFI Picks
NRFI Best Bet Today #1: Detroit Tigers at Minnesota Twins (-110)
The Twins are averaging .52 runs in the first frame, which is 10th best in baseball, but we are going against them. So far this season, they are averaging .74 runs at home. Left-handed starter Tarik Skubal makes the start for Milwaukee, and Skubal is a stud who is having a fantastic season. He dominates the Twins’ current roster with a 32.2% K rate, a .214 xBA, and a .282 xwOBA.
The Tigers put up .49 runs per first frame, which is in the middle of the pack for the MLB, and we are fading them today. They are averaging .67 runs in the first inning over their last three games, so we expect regression. The Tigers score .54 runs in the first at home, which is a slight increase. They are facing righty Simeon Woods Richardson, who has been decent this season. He has poor numbers against the Tigers roster, but in a small sample size.
NRFI Best Bet Today #2: Baltimore Orioles at Seattle Mariners (-110)
The Orioles are averaging .48 runs in the first frame, which is 15th best in baseball, and we are going against them. So far this season, they are averaging .16 runs on the road. The Mariners have a pitcher’s park, which will help suppress runs. George Kirby makes the start, and he has a .330 xwOBA and a .267 xBA against the current Orioles roster.
The Mariners put up .45 runs per first frame, which is near the bottom of the MLB, and we like them not to score in the first. They are averaging no runs in the first inning over their last three games, and this is a tough matchup. The Mariners score .40 runs in the first at home, which is a slight decrease, and we are fading. They are facing righty Grayson Rodriguez, who has a .208 xwOBA, a .107 xBA, and a .135 xSLG against the current Mariners roster.
