Best NRFI Bets Today – Free NRFI Picks

NRFI Best Bet Today #1: Tampa Bay Rays at Texas Rangers

The Rangers are averaging .54 runs in the first frame, which is 8th best in baseball, but we are going against them. So far this season, they are averaging .52 runs at home. The Rays have not announced a starter yet, but we expect the Rangers to struggle in the first.

The Rays put up .47 runs per first frame, which is in the middle of the pack for the MLB, and we are fading them today. They are averaging one run in the first inning over their last three games, so we expect regression. The Rays score .62 runs in the first on the road, which is a slight increase. They are facing righty Michael Lorenzen, who is having a solid season so far.

NRFI Best Bet Today #2: Toronto Blue Jays at Seattle Mariners

The Blue Jays are averaging .41 runs in the first frame, which is 22nd best in baseball, and we are going against them. So far this season, they are averaging .33 runs on the road. The Mariners have a pitcher’s park, which will help suppress runs. Luis Castillo makes the start, and he has a .259 xwOBA and a .222 xBA against the current Orioles roster.

The Mariners put up .44 runs per first frame, which is near the bottom of the MLB, and we like them not to score in the first. They are averaging no runs in the first inning over their last three games, and this is a tough matchup. The Mariners score .38 runs in the first at home, which is a slight decrease, and we are fading. They are facing righty Kevin Gausman Kremer, who has a .277 xwOBA and a .211 xBA against the current Mariners roster.
