Hitter Prop Prediction 1: Ramon Urias

Baltimore Orioles third baseman Ramon Urias finished the 2023 regular season campaign with a .264 batting average and only four home runs & 42 RBI across 395 plate appearances. Urias is batting .500 in the postseason after going 1-2 in Saturdays 3-2 loss against the Texas Rangers.

However, he is only 1-8 (.125) with three strikeouts against tonight’s opposing starting pitcher Nathan Eovaldi.

Eovaldi finished the regular season with a 12-5 record, 3.63 ERA, 1.14 WHIP and 132 strikeouts across 144 innings of work. He looked great in his first playoff appearance of 2023 with 6.2 innings of one run baseball in a 7-1 victory against the Tampa Bay Rays.

The key here is that Urias bats 8th and was pulled last game for lefty pitch hitter Ryan O’Hearn late in the game. This is an elimination game for the Orioles, and they will be pulling out all the stops setting Urias up for another early exit.

Eovaldi is also very familiar with what it takes to win in the postseason after his time in Boston. He knows the importance of an elimination game and will take full advantage of tonight’s opportunity.

The Prop Pick: Ramon Urias UNDER Hits + Runs + RBIs 0.5 (+115)

Hitter Prop Prediction 2: Marcus Semien OVER Hits + Runs + RBIs 1.5 (+115)

Texas Rangers second baseman Marcus Semien hit .276 during the regular season with 29 home runs, 100 RBI, 122 runs scored and 14 stolen bases across 747 plate appearances.

Semien is only hitting .158 (3-19) during the postseason with two RBI and three runs scored. However, Semien as still managed to record 2+ Hits + Runs + RBI in two of the four playoff games after finishing the regular season with a 66% success rate to this number.

Baltimore Orioles starting pitcher Dean Kremer finished the regular season with a 13-5 record, 4.12 ERA, 1.31 WHIP and 157 strikeouts across 172.2 innings of work.

This will be Kremers first postseason appearance of his career, and he will be pitching in a hostile environment at Globe Life Field.

Semien is also 4-12 (.333) against Kremer with a home run and double. Semien will be in his normal leadoff role, and he has managed to clear this number with bad performances.

Now he is facing a vulnerable pitcher at home, making this a nice plus money spot. Play both picks and guarantee a small profit with one cashing.
