Hitter Prop Prediction 1: Giancarlo Stanton UNDER 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs (-125)
New York Yankees designated hitter Giancarlo Stanton is having a brutal season with a .198 batting average, 23 home runs and only 57 RBI across 372 plate appearances.
It’s been all or nothing for the slugger, as he is 4-28 (.143) in September but three of those hits were home runs. He has fallen short of 2+ Hits + Runs + RBI in 19 of his last 30 games for a 63% success rate to the under.
Boston Red Sox starting pitcher Tanner Houck is 4-9 on the season with a 5.28 ERA, 1.34 WHIP and 80 strikeouts across 87 innings of work. He has gotten the better of Stanton, holding him to 2-12 with four strikeouts and no home runs or extra base hits throughout his career.
Houck has done a great job keeping the ball in the yard with only three home runs allowed across his last 23.1 innings of work.

Hitter Prop Prediction 2: Yordan Alvarez OVER 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs (-150)
Houston Astros left fielder Yordan Alvarez is batting a robust .298 on the season with 28 home runs and 85 RBI across 423 plate appearances. He is hitting .353 (12-34) in September with three home runs and 8 RBI.
Alvarez has recorded 2+ Hits + Runs + RBI in 5 of his last 7 games and 57% of his games on the season. Oakland Athletics starting pitcher Paul Blackburn is 4-4 on the season with a 3.88 ERA, 1.51 WHIP and 95 strikeouts across 92.2 innings pitched.
He has been assaulted by the Astros current lineup as they bat .287 (29-101) with 7 home runs and 18 RBI against him.
Alvarez in particular is hitting .333 (4-12) against him with three home runs and 6 RBI. The Astros are looking to avoid a three-game sweep at the hands of the worst team in major league baseball and a big game from Alvarez would go a long way. He does get his fair share of walks, but Blackburn has yet to issue a free pass against him.
If he does end up on base, there are plenty of other Astros sluggers with success against Blackburn that can drive him in. Regardless the Alvarez over 1.5 HRR play is worth a play despite the juice being set at -150.
