Hitter Prop Prediction 1: JP Crawford OVER 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs (+105)

Seattle Mariners shortstop JP Crawford is hitting .266 during the 2023 campaign with 17 home runs, 58 RBI and 91 runs scored across 606 plate appearances.

Crawford is only batting .258 in September, but it’s easily been his best month from a production standpoint with five home runs and 14 RBI with another week to work with. He has recorded 2+ Hits + Runs + RBI in five of his last seven games.

Houston Astros starting pitcher Justin Verlander is 11-8 with a 3.44 ERA, 1.17 WHIP and 131 strikeouts across 149.1 innings of work.

Verlander has hit the skids in September with a 1-2 record and 5.19 ERA while allowing seven home runs in only 26 innings pitched. Crawford has dominated the head-to-head with Verlander, going 8-23 (.348) with a home run, double and three walks.

The Mariners have also dominated the Astros during the regular season, going 8-2 while scoring 4+ runs in six of those games.

Hitter Prop Prediction 2: Thairo Estrada UNDER 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs (-140)

San Francisco Giants second baseman Thairo Estrada is batting .275 with 13 home runs, 48 RBI, 62 runs scored and 22 stolen bases across 504 plate appearances during the regular season.

Estrada has actually been solid in September with a .276 batting average, three home runs and seven RBI across 90 plate appearances.

However, Estrada has fallen short of 2+ Hits + Runs + RBI in four of his last six games. More importantly, he is only 2-16 (.125) with 9 strikeouts against San Diego Padres ace Blake Snell.

Snell is the odds-on favorite for National League Cy Young with a 14-9 record, 2.33 ERA, 1.20 WHIP and 233 strikeouts across 174 innings of work.

Snell has been nearly flawless in his two outings against San Francisco with 12 scoreless innings of work while allowing only six hits and striking out 19. This sets up as a pitcher’s duel as Logan Webb has been sharp and had success against the Pades lineup in the past.

Regardless Snell has dominated Estrada, and he will see limited at-bats against the bullpen. Give me the under 1.5 HRR at -140 odds.
