Lucchesi has been spot on since returning from injury with a 2-0 record and only two runs allowed across 18.1 innings pitched in three outings.

Bell has found success against Lucchesi throughout his career, going 3-10 (.300) with two doubles and a walk.

Detroit Tigers starting pitcher Reese Olson is 5-7 on the season with a 4.13 ERA, 1.11 WHIP and 98 strikeouts across 96 innings of work.

Olson has actually been lights out in September with a 3-1 record and nifty 1.40 ERA across 25.2 innings pitched. However, the Royals got the better of Olson in June with four runs on six hits across six innings of a 6-4 Kansas City victory.

Witt Jr feasted on Olson, going 2-3 with a home run that drew first blood in the game. Witt Jr bats in the two-hole of the Royals lineup which sets I’m perfectly to both drive in and score runs.

These late season games between teams left with nothing to play for can get out of control and I’m counting on Witt Jr cleaning up in this one.
