Hitter Prop Prediction 1: Rafael Devers

Boston Red Sox third baseman Rafael Devers has put together another stellar campaign with a .272 batting average, 33 home runs and 98 RBI across 638 plate appearances.

He has hit .298 in September with four home runs and 9 RBI across 99 plate appearances. Devers has recorded 2+ Hits + Runs + RBI in his last two and 9 of his last 12 games.

Baltimore Orioles starting pitcher Dean Kremer has a flashy 12-5 record with a 4.25 ERA, 1.33 WHIP and 149 strikeouts across 167.1 innings of work.

Toronto Blue Jays starting pitcher Jose Berrios has put together a solid 2023 campaign with an 11-11 record, 3.58 ERA, 1.18 WHIP and 174 strikeouts across 183.2 innings pitched.

However, he has hit the skids in September with a 4.67 ERA across a combined 17.1 innings pitched after not pitching past the 5th inning in any of his four outings.

Kremer was creamed in two April starts against Boston, allowing 9 runs on 13 hits in only 8.2 innings of work. Devers went 4-9 with a home run in those games and he is 6-16 (.375) with two home runs against Kremer throughout his career.

Let’s ride the hot bat of Devers while fading a fizzling Dean Kremer and play the over 1.5 HRR at a reasonable price.

Hitter Prop Prediction 2: Teoscar Hernandez UNDER 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs (+100)

Seattle Mariners right fielder Teoscar Hernandez is batting .261 during the 2023 regular season with 26 home runs and 93 RBI across 660 plate appearances.

However, Hernandez has cooled off in September with a .242 batting average, three home runs and 12 RBI across 109 plate appearances. He has now fallen short of 2+ Hits + Runs + RBI in 8 of his last 11 games.

Texas Rangers starting pitcher Jordan Montgomery has a 10-11 record but a 3.25 ERA, 1.19 WHIP and 161 strikeouts across 182.2 innings of work.

Montgomery has been absolutely brilliant in his last three outings, holding his opponents to only one run on 14 hits across 21 innings pitched.

This includes his last outing against the Mariners on Saturday where he held them to seven scoreless innings.

Hernandez has really struggled against Monty throughout his career, holding him to 2-18 with seven strikeouts and no extra-base hits. He fell short of this total in Saturday’s game, going 1-3 with no runs scored or RBI.

Hernandez has struggled to hit at home all season long with a .221 batting average and worse production numbers.

On top of that he’s struggling and facing a pitcher that has dominated him, take the under 1.5 HRR on Hernandez tonight.
