Hitter Prop Prediction 1: Gleyber Torres

New York Yankees second baseman Gleyber Torres is batting .270 on the season with 25 home runs and 66 RBI across 657 plate appearances.

Torres has cooled off recently, batting .269 with no home runs and only one RBI across 61 plate appearances during the last 15 days.

He has now fallen short of 3+ Hits + Runs + RBI in 7 of his last 8 games and 12 of his last 17 games. Jordan Lyles has been a starting pitcher to fade with a staggering 5-17 record, 6.24 ERA and 116 strikeouts across 171.2 innings of work.

However, he has dominated Torres throughout his career, holding him to 3-19 (.158) with one home run and three strikeouts.

Lyles was also sharp in his last outing, pitching five scoreless innings against the Houston Astros. He also has an ERA of 5.12 and OBA of .234 at home compared to a 7.32 ERA and .280 OBA on the road.

Adames is only hitting .202 with three home runs and 16 RBI across 109 plate appearances during the last 30 days. He has now fallen short of 2+ Hits + Runs + RBI in his last four and 11 of his last 15 games.

Adames has also landed under 1.5 HRR in 89 out of 146 games on the season for a 61% success rate to the under.

Chicago Cubs starting pitcher Kyle Hendricks has a 6-8 record, 3.66 ERA, 1.18 WHIP and 91 strikeouts across 132.2 innings pitched. He held the Pittsburgh Pirates to three runs on seven hits across six innings his last time out.

Hendricks has gotten the better of Adames throughout his career, holding him to 2-19 (.105) with no home runs and 8 strikeouts.

He has also preferred to pitch on the road where he has a 3.08 ERA and .222 OBA compared to a 4.16 ERA and .279 OBA at Wrigley Field. Adams has been slumping and now he faces a pitcher that has owned him, take the under 1.5 HRR tonight.
