Hitter Prop Prediction 1: Brandon Nimmo Over 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs (-135)

New York Mets center fielder and leadoff hitter Brandon Nimmo is batting .266 with 22 home runs, 57 RBI and 76 runs scored across 585 plate appearances during the 2023 season.

Nimmo is currently on a seven-game hit streak where he has recorded 2+ Hits + Runs + RBI five times. This includes going 3-5 with a pair of solo home runs against the Washington Nationals just last night.

Washington Nationals starting pitcher Joan Adon has a 2-1 record, 5.90 ERA, 1.14 WHIP and 23 strikeouts across 29 innings of work during the 2023 campaign. Adon was blasted in his last outing, allowing five runs on nine hits across five innings of what proved to be a 6-1 loss against the Miami Marlins.

Nimmo is 1-2 with three walks against Adon throughout his career while also having varying degrees of success against the Nationals relievers.

He does have a slightly better batting average against left-handed pitching, but his power comes against righties with 19 of his 22 home runs coming against them. The Mets just scored 11 runs against Washington yesterday with Nimmo being the sparkplug for their offense.

Nimmo has been on fire combined, and he will see plenty of opportunities in the leadoff spot making him well worthy of a play today.

Hitter Prop Prediction 2: Triston Casas Over 0.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs (-175)

Boston Red Sox first baseman Triston Casas is making a late push for American League Rookie of the Year with a .268 batting average, 23 home runs and 60 RBI across 465 plate appearances.

Casas is currently on a 12-game hit streak, and he has recorded 1+ Hits + Runs + RBI in 24 of his last 30 games for an 80% success rate to the over. He has crushed right-handed pitching with a .280 batting average, 20 home runs and 53 RBI across 378 plate appearances.

Tampa Bay Rays starting pitcher Tyler Glasnow has a 7-5 record, 3.17 ERA, 1.05 WHIP and an impressive 120 strikeouts across 93.2 innings during the regular season.

However, Casas got the better of him in the short term, going 2-4 with a rare triple, double and one RBI. Gunnar Henderson is the heavy favorite for AL ROY but Casas has worked his way into the #2 spot with +700 odds, leapfrogging his teammate Masataka Yoshida in the process.

Casas is playing the best baseball in his short career, and he has some great short-term numbers against Glasnow. This play is juicy, but we only need a single hit, run or RBI to cash a small play on this ticket!
