Hitter Prop Prediction 1: Juan Soto Over 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs (-135)

San Diego Padres left fielder Juan Soto is batting .261 on the season with 28 home runs and 84 RBI across 598 plate appearances.

Soto has recorded 2+ Hits + Runs + RBI in his last three and 7 of his last 9 games. He was a major factor in the Padres sweep over the San Francisco Giants this weekend as he hit homerun in each of those games.

Philadelphia Phillies right fielder Nick Castellanos has a .273 batting average, 22 home runs and 85 RBI across 568 plate appearances during the 2023 campaign.

He has fallen short of 2+ Hits + Runs + RBI in 4 of his last 7 games. Castellanos really struggles on the road with a .239 batting average and 7 home runs across 276 at-bats compared to a.309 batting average and 15 home runs across only 262 at-bats at home.

San Diego Padres veteran starting pitcher Rich Hill is 7-13 with a bloated 5.26 ERA and 117 strikeouts across 137 innings of work.

However, Hill has consistently gotten the better of Castellanos throughout his career, holding him to 1-15 (.067) with five strikeouts and no RBI. Key relievers in the San Diego bullpen have also gotten the better of Castellanos, including Nick Martinez 2-11 (.182), Josh Hader 1-6 (.167) and Scott Barlow 1-4 (.250).

Based on his struggles on the road and against Padre’s pitching, Castellanos makes a great option for a plus money under.
