Home Run Prop Prediction 1: Bryan De La Cruz (+700)

Bryan De La Cruz has been struggling in June but is riding a modest three game hitting streak as the Marlins welcome Mitch Keller and the Pirates for a four-game series starting tonight.

De La Cruz loves playing at home with a .320 batting average and .836 OPS compared to batting only .234 on the road with a .664 OPS. He hit his last home run back on June 5 with Keller sporting a 4.44 road ERA and five of his ten home runs given up on the season are to righties in 22 less at-bats than lefties faced.

He’s also seen his ERA get progressively worse allowing 10 earned runs over his last three starts including a home run in each.

De La Cruz gets shuffled around the batting order so look for him to slot into the #4 or #5 spot as that’s where he does his most damage from a power standpoint.

Grab De La Cruz at a valuable +700 to hit a home run against the Pirates tonight in Miami with other Marlins hitters to consider are Jorge Soler (+470) and Jesus Sanchez (+680).

Home Run Prop Prediction 1: Anthony Rizzo (+460)

After batting .327 with a .916 OPS in May Anthony Rizzo has seen those numbers drop to .127 with a .408 OPS in June.

Certainly not what Rizzo has wanted but he has a good shot to get in the home run column this month tonight going up against Bryan Woo and the Mariners as they Yankees go for the sweep.

Woo has only started three games this season but it’s enough of a sample size to show he struggles against lefties. He allows lefties to bat .471 with all three home runs given up in only 17 at-bats compared to zero given up in 34 at-bats to righties.

He sports a 10.80 road ERA (two starts) with Rizzo still batting .317 at home despite his struggles this month.

Sure Rizzo bats only .238 against righties but 10 of his 11 home runs have come against them as well. If Rizzo is going to hit a home run at all this month, tonight may be his best shot to do that.

Grab Rizzo to hit a home run tonight at +460 with other Yankees who can hit a home run include Giancarlo Stanton (+360) and Gleyber Torres (+470).
