Home Run Prop Prediction 1: Wilmer Flores (+330)

Andrew Abbott got off to a hot start for the Reds but has recently cooled off allowing five home runs across his last three starts.

Wilmer Flores and the Giants will look to take advantage of the lefty’s vulnerability to giving up home runs recently as the Giants first baseman has bat .333 against lefties on the season with five of his 11 total home runs in 14 less at-bats than taken against right handed pitching on the season.

He hits .292 away from Oracle Park with seven of his 11 home runs coming on the road. He already has three home runs this series as he’s found his power stroke while playing at the Great American Ball Park which has given up the third most home runs of any stadium in the MLB.

Flores has batted .422 in July with a .711 slugging percentage with Abbott giving up seven of his eight home runs to righties on the season.

Take Flores to hit a home run at +330 with other Giants to consider are Austin Slater (+560) and Michael Conforto (+450).

Home Run Prop Prediction 2: Patrick Wisdom (+450)

Patrick Wisdom got the day off yesterday as the Cubs welcome NL Central rival Cardinals to Wrigley Field tonight. St. Louis sends Lefty Steven Matz to the mound in which Wisdom has had solid success off lefties this season with six home runs in 79 at-bats.

He’s hit 10 of his 17 total home runs at home in 23 less at-bats than taken on the road on the season. He’s hit a home run in three straight starts as he looks on track to match the 25 home run total he had last season.

Sure he hit 10 of his 17 home runs in April but it looks like he’s rounding back into form with his recent power surge. Matz has allowed 10 home runs in 76 innings on the season with eight of those coming against righties while sporting a 6.03 ERA on the road.

He also allows opponents to bat .324 on the road as well. The Cubs have scored 10 runs per game over their last three and there’s no reason why they couldn’t reach that mark again tonight.

Take Wisdom to hit a home run at +450 with other Cubs to consider for home runs are Cody Bellinger (+600) and Trey Mancini (+750).
