Home Run Prop Prediction 1: Yandy Diaz (+480)

After hitting just two home runs in all of June and July combined, Yandy Diaz already has two in August while batting .323 so far this month as well.

He and the Rays play their series finale with the Cardinals today sending lefty Matthew Liberatore to the mound sporting a large 11.48 road ERA while allowing opponents to bat .350.

Liberatore allows righties to bat .339 with a .548 slugging percentage on the season as Diaz bats .329 against lefties with a .575 slugging percentage. Diaz also bats .346 at home with nine of his 16 home runs as well.

Sure Diaz has never been known as a power hitter as he’s already notched his career high in home runs with 16 but he did have seven this April so perhaps he’s just finding his power stroke back just in time for the home stretch of the regular season.

Take Diaz to hit a home run tonight at +480 with other Rays to look at for a home run are Randy Arozarena (+430) and Jose Siri (+500).

Home Run Prop Prediction 2: Triston Casas (+400)

Royals starter Alec Marsh has surrendered ten home runs in just 28 innings pitched on the season as he’ll get the start today in Boston sporting a 7.41 road ERA.

Triston Casas has started to come into his own for Boston belting seven home runs in July after hitting just six in May and June combined.

He already has two home runs in August including one in last night’s win against the Royals as Marsh allows lefties to bat .293 with a .603 slugging percentage.

In his last three starts he’s given up five home runs as Casas bats .265 against righties with 17 of his 18 home runs on the season as well.

Look for Casas to continue his recent power surge with the Red Sox and hit a home run with odds listed at +430. Other Red Sox to consider hitting a home run today include Rafael Devers (+330) and Adam Duval (+300).
