We’re hoping the Cubs have better luck in the home run department than they did last night with righty Chris Flexen taking the mound for the Rockies.

He’s given up 23 home runs in just 80.2 innings pitched and Cody Bellinger looks to take advantage of this situation.

The Colorado starter sports a 9.45 home ERA heading in allowing lefties to bat .308 off him. He’s allowed four home runs over his last two starts with Bellinger belting five home runs already this month.

He has a .327 batting average for the month as well to go along with a .673 slugging percentage. The Cubs outfielder continues to impress many critics after he fell off the map in 2020 but he’s gained his mojo back helping the Cubs get to a comfortable spot in the NL Wildcard.

Take Bellinger to hit a home run tonight at +420 with other Cubs to look at for a home run include Jeimer Candelario (+420) who is 3-4 against Flexen and Dansby Swanson (+360) who is 4-6 against Flexen.
