Home Run Prop Prediction 1: Matt Olson (+240)

We only get +240 odds for Matt Olson to hit a home run today against the Cardinals who are sending out a deflated Adam Wainwright to the mound whose best seasons are behind him.

The Braves first baseman has hit a home run in three straight games but the oddity is the Braves have lost all three.

The Cardinals veteran allows lefties to bat .368 on the season with a .626 slugging percentage with Olson hitting 37 of his 46 home runs off righties on the season.

The Braves first baseman bats .348 against the Cardinals on the season with three home runs although he doesn’t have one off Wainwright in his career. In five starts in August, Wainwright posted a 10.89 ERA while allowing four home runs.

He’s also allowed 10 of his 16 home runs on the road in 11 less innings pitched than at home on the season. It seems like Olson is on a mission to hit the 50 home run mark sooner rather than later so take him to hit one tonight again against the Cardinals.

Other Braves batters to look at for a home run include Orlando Arcia (+900) who is 8-21 off Wainwright in his career and Austin Riley (+300).

Home Run Prop Prediction 2: Cody Bellinger (+480)

Cody Bellinger continues to be a huge benefactor for the Cubs now batting .379 for September with a hit in every game as well as four home runs.

He and the Cubs welcome in the Diamondbacks who are sending Ryne Nelson to the mound who has struggled in recent starts.

He’s allowed 12 earned runs including three home runs in his last six innings while allowing lefties to bat .293 on the season with a .530 slugging percentage.

Nelson has never faced off with the Cubs but Chicago has won four straight while scoring almost 10 runs per game during that span.

Bellinger bats .318 at home to go along with a .564 slugging percentage while batting .330 during night games as well.

We’ll continue to ride Bellinger’s current hot streak taking him to hit a home run at +480 with other Cubs batters to consider for a home run include Dansby Swanson (+500) and Ian Happ (+560).
