White Sox Player Hits Baseball

Today’s MLB Home Run Prop Bets For July 26

The Tigers Jeimer Candelario shocked the world yesterday hitting two home runs in Comerica Park in what was a wild night of baseball. WagerTalk content contributor Kyle Kargel provides his daily home run prop picks and predictions for Tuesday, July 26 with odds provided by PointsBet.

Home Run Prop Prediction 1: Austin Riley (+350)

Three different Braves players have three home runs off Phillies starting pitcher Aaron Nola including third baseman Austin Riley. Riley was scorching to end the first half and is currently riding an 18-game hitting streak that includes eight home runs!

He knows if he has a strong second half, he has a serious case for NL MVP, especially if the Braves win the NL East. He’s 13-34 against Nola all-time including the already mentioned three home runs.

Against Philadelphia so far on the season, Riley is hitting .419 and with Nola sporting a 4.15 ERA at home compared to 2.30 on the road, Riley is a solid bet to hit a home run. He’s allowed nine of the 13 home runs he’s given up at Citizens Bank Park in 14 less innings pitched.

The last time Nola pitched against the Braves at home was on June 30th in which he went seven innings allowing four earned runs including two home runs.

The last time Nola pitched under seven innings in a game was on June 1st so regardless if he’s getting hit or not, he gets left in the game in most circumstances.

Get Riley at +350 but the other Braves hitters with success against Nola are Ronald Acuña Jr. (+310) and Marcell Ozuna (+350) if you want to take a shot on one of them as well!

Home Run Prop Prediction 2: Jose Abreu (+350)

We’re back at Coors Field for the second home run prop pick as the Rockies will host the White Sox for two games and German Marquez will be taking the mound.

He has a 6.63 home ERA and has allowed 13 of the 18 home runs to come at home as well. This is the perfect situation for Jose Abreu to get his power bat going as everyone has suspected will happen at some point this season. He only has two home runs in July but does sport a .369 average this month.

Abreu is a much better hitter on the road hitting .367 opposed to .242 at home and eight of his 11 home runs have also come on the road as well in five less total at-bats.

We’re all aware of Abreu’s power as he had 228 home runs in his career before this season coming out to 28 home runs per season. If the White Sox are going to have any shot at winning the AL Central, Abreu’s power has to surface soon.

He’s listed at +350 but considering it’s Coors Field and Marquez is pitching, other White Sox players to consider are A.J. Pollack (+360) and Eloy Jimenez (+290).
