Daily K-Prop Prediction: Lance Lynn Over 5.5 K’s (+105)
Lance Lynn hasn’t had a lot of history this season, seeing as he is making just his second start, but this is his return to his home field in Chicago and a place he has done special things in the past.
In the last three seasons Lance Lynn has racked up 10.6 K/9 innings pitchers at home, striking out nearly 1.2 batter per inning.
Now after an extended run-in with injuries, he returns to Guaranteed Rate Field to pitch in front of his home town fans against a team he has some history against.
When you look at the major six contributors for the Blue Jays, Springer, Vlad, Bichette, Teoscar, Chapman and Lourdes, those 6 batters have struck out in nearly 38% of at-bats against Lynn, combining for 29 K’s in 77 AB’s.
