Daily Strikeout Prop Prediction: Zach Eflin Over 5.5 K’s (+120)
While Eflin hasn’t been one to go over a total like this on a regular basis, we have seen a more impressive Eflin in recent starts. He has only gone over 5.5 K’s two times this season, but they have been his last two home starts, and have both happened within his last 6 starts.
He is striking out 1.6 more batters per nine innings at home, compared to his road starts, and Miami has struck out at a higher rate than most teams in the last ten games, striking out over nine times per game.
Supporting Eflin even more as he has gone 6+ innings pitched in five of his last seven starts, when you average one strikeout per inning for Miami in the last 10 games, and Eflin going 6+ innings pitched on average in his last seven games, Eflin should be able to pull of 6+ K’s.
