Daily Strikeout Prop Prediction: Gerrit Cole Over 7.5 K’s (-135)
Gerrit Cole has struck out 8 or more batters in five of his last six starts, and six out of the last eight! While he is striking out 11 batters per 9 innings on the road this season, it definitely isn’t a fluke seeing as he is averaging 12 strikeouts per 9 innings over the last 3 seasons away from home!
Cole has faced every batter in the projected starting line-up and has struck out everyone other than Arraez, with each of the batters having 8 or less at-bats, racking up a strikeout history in minimal at-bats.
Plus, Minnesota is due for a bad strikeout day, they are averaging over 9 strikeouts per game in the last 10 games, but they have had a couple good games.
