MLB K-Prop Analysis
Best bet for Thursday, May 26: Eric Lauer from the Milwaukee Brewers OVER 5.5 K’s (-105) at St. Louis.
Lauer doesn’t qualify for the pitching rankings because he hasn’t completed enough innings yet, but if he did, he would rank fourth in the league for K/9, striking out 11.7 batters on average in a nine-inning span!
He has struck out 54 batters in 41.2 innings pitched, and 33 of those strikeouts have come on the road this season. Lauer enters Thursday night’s contest in St Louis averaging eight strikeouts per start on the road.
St. Louis has struck out 37 times in just the last four games, while they averaged just over seven strikeouts as a team in the first 39 games of the season.
