MLB Picks Today : Seattle Mariners at San Francisco Giants

I am hesitant to bet on the Giants, as they have not been playing well recently. However, I believe that the current betting odds are too low, and that the Giants are actually worth a bet at around (-160).

Tommy Milone is making his second start of the season, and his first since April 14th. In his lone start, he gave up just one run in 4.2 innings against Colorado. However, Milone is a 36-year-old pitcher who has not made many starts in recent years. It is possible that he will be rusty, especially against a team as talented as the Giants.

Alex Cobb has been much more reliable for the Giants. He has won four straight home starts, and has a 1.43 ERA in San Francisco this season. The Giants have also won eight of Cobb’s last nine starts, and 10 of his last 12.

In addition, the Mariners have a poor record against pitchers with an ERA under 3.60. They are just 2-16 in their last 18 games against such pitchers. The Giants, on the other hand, are 10-3 in their last 13 games against left-handed pitchers.

Based on these factors, I believe that the Giants are a good value bet at (-157). I would not be surprised if they were able to win this game and snap their four-game losing streak.
