Pitcher Prop Bets No. 1: Miles Mikolas (STL) Over 3.5 Strikeouts (+105; DraftKings)

Miles Mikolas has cleared this number in 61% of his starts this season, and we like him to go over this number against the Nationals on the road today. The Nationals have a 21.4% K rate against right-handed pitching over their last 14 games. Mikolas is not known as a strikeout pitcher, but this number is too low.

Mikolas had four strikeouts in his last start, and he’s maxed out at six Ks in a game this season. The Nationals have an 11.4% swinging strike rate over their last 14 games against righties and a 31.4% chase rate. This number is too low, making it one of the best pitcher props today.

Pitcher Props Today – Best Bets No.2: Ryan Feltner (COL) Over 5.5 Strikeouts (+120; DraftKings)

Feltner is coming off a three-strikeout game against the Brewers, but we like him to go over today against the Reds. Feltner has cleared this number in just 35% of starts this season, but at plus money, this is a good bet. The Reds have a 25.4% K rate against right-handed pitching over the last 14 games, along with a 15.1% swinging strike rate and a 30.9% chase rate.

Feltner is in the 30th percentile for K rate, the 31st for chase rate, and the 37th for whiff percentage. These metrics are not great, but the Reds are susceptible to striking out. Feltner has performed poorly against the current Reds’ roster, but we are betting on his upside, and we do not expect the Reds to hit him around today.
