Daily Strikeout Prop Predictions: Charlie Morton Under 6.5 K’s (-105)
I am not sure how long Morton will last in this game, he only struck out the Phillies 4 times the first time he faced Philadelphia this season and he allowed four earned runs in just 4.1 IP.
He has struck out noticeably less batters on the road, with an obvious variance to his performance based on site, and his two standout strikeout performances recently came against two of the top 4 teams in the last 20 games in terms of strikeouts.
The Giants and the Pirates have struck out more than most teams over the span, so Morton striking them out double digit times doesn’t hold the same accomplishment.
He would have to go nine innings to strikeout the Phillies seven times at the rate they are going, over the last 20 games they have struck out just 7.3 times per game, and they have struck out just 7.4 times per game in their last ten at home.
