Daily Strikeout Prop Prediction: Nestor Cortes Over 6.5 K’s (+110)
It wasn’t long ago that Minnesota struck out 13 times against Jose Berrios, and now they have one of the most impressive pitchers currently in Nestor Cortes coming to Minnesota.
Cortes has struck out seven or more batters in four out of his last five starts, on top of accomplishing that in six of his last nine starts.
He has struck out over one batter per inning on the road in the last two seasons, and the fact that he has gone 7+ innings in four of his last five starts makes this over very achievable, with plenty of opportunity as the underdog side of the bet.
