Holly Holm vs Ketlen Vieira Analysis
Ketlen Vieira has proven herself since joining the UFC in 2016. She’s coming off a victory over former champion Miesha Tate in her first main event as she looks to add another former champion to her resume towards gold.
This will mark the return to the octagon for Holly Holm after being inactive for over a year, and Holly will look to extend her win streak to three while closing in on a title opportunity with a win over Vieira. This marks the fourth time in Vieira’s UFC run that she’ll be an underdog. She’s undefeated in that spot thus far.

The winner of this fight will make an excellent case to fight the winner of the much-anticipated rematch between Julianna Pena and Amanda Nunes.
Holly Holm has faced long odds while proving everyone wrong when she upset then-undefeated champion Ronda Rousey, as a +700 underdog. She’ll look to pull off another shocker by making one final title run at the age of 40.
Ketlen Vieira has grown so much as a fighter since signing with the promotion in 2016, having amassed a record of 6-2 inside the octagon. She’s proven herself in the main event slot against a legend before and believes she’s capable of doing more of the same on her way to the undisputed championship.

Ketlen Vieira has shown herself to be a well-rounded fighter who is comfortable wherever the fight occurs. As seen against Miesha Tate, she was highly pleased to compete on the feet for the entirety of the battle while outpointing the veteran.
She’s shown tremendous grappling that could be needed in this matchup as she’s notched an impressive 46% takedown rate in her eight prior UFC bouts.
She’ll have to put on her best performance to date against Holm as she looks to get her hand raised.

Holly Holm has regrouped quite nicely since facing a skid from 2016-to 2019 when she posted a record of 2-5 in the UFC, including an 0-4 record in UFC title fights, which proves that she has been facing the best and most challenging competition over two weight divisions.
She’ll look to keep this fight standing and at range while picking apart Vieira’s striking defense that has seen her get out-landed in 7 of her 8 UFC fights.
Holm should have quite the advantage if she keeps this fight standing.
