AdventHealth 400 Betting Analysis

NASCAR travels to Kansas to race on the 1.5 mile cookie cutter track after Martin Truex was able to tame the Monster Mile at Dover.

This track is pretty straight forward as it’s your basic 1.5 mile track, and it will probably be tough to pass on so expect teams who can’t make it through the field on green flag laps to take some chances on pit stops.

Looking at the driver ratings from Las Vegas and Auto Club from earlier this year Ross Chastain has the highest driver average with William Byron, Alex Bowman, Kyle Busch and Denny Hamlin behind him.

Wagering on Ross is always high risk high reward as he’s so talented and his car and team are great, but he’s always running into someone, and you’re always wondering if retaliation is coming from one of his victims.

Toyotas had a really good week last week finishing with the outright winner and three others in the top 7, and two Toyotas won the races last year at Kansas.

AdventHealth 400 Top 10 Favorite Prediction

Chase Elliott -145 (Bovada)

He finished 2nd at his only 1.5 mile race earlier this season at California, and while he had some miserable finishes at the cookie cutter tracks last year, he finished 11th in the last Kansas race of the year and he’s finished 10th, 11th, and 12th in three races since returning from the injury.

AdventHealth 400 Head-to-Head Prediction

Ryan Blaney -120 over Kyle Busch

Kyle Busch got his win at Talladega and at California earlier this season, but it’s not been a consistent season with four finishes outside the top 13 in his last five races.

Blaney did not start off the year strong, but he seems to have settled in finishing 7th, 2nd and 3rd the last three weeks.

I think the Penske Ford is getting better as the season goes on, and this could be a nice week for him so I’ll take him over Kyle Busch this week.
