EchoPark Automotive Grand Prix Track: Circuit of the Americas

This road course is a big one at 3.4 miles long, and it features plenty of tight turns with a couple of longer straights, and then one long straight that leads to a high braking turn where lots of passing and chaos take place.

The track was designed and built for Formula 1 cars, but NASCAR races on it and the IndyCar Series raced here before COVID.

NASCAR has raced here three times, but you can throw out the 2021 results as they raced in a massive rainstorm with lots of wrecks.

Practice starts at 10:00 AM ET on Saturday morning with qualifying right after at 11:30. The race is at 3:30 PM ET on Sunday.

Ross Chastain -125 over Daniel Suarez

Suarez has an average finish of 14th the last three races while Chastain has an average finish of 8.3, but Suarez has had miserable finishes at COTA so that’s the big selling point here.

He’s averaged a 26th-place finish here the last two years while Chastain has an average finish of 2.5. Some drivers don’t have good luck or just don’t feel comfortable at a track, and Suarez seems to fit into that category here while Chastain loves it here.

Alex Bowman (-110)

Bowman hasn’t had a great start to the year, but this is a track that could get his season jump started. He is tied with Chastain for the best average finish here the last two years so he feels comfortable on this track, and this price is fantastic.

EchoPark Automotive Grand Prix Manufacturer Winner Prediction

This is a tough category this week. If you want to play it safe, and just go for small profits, bet some on Toyota at +125 and the same amount on Chevy +130 and hope to scrape a little profit.

Ford doesn’t have a lot of drivers who are threats to win this race. Maybe Logano, McDowell, but the top 11 betting favorites are in Toyotas or Chevy’s.
