NBA Player Props Predictions: De’Aaron Fox Sacramento Kings Over 23.5 Points (-106) FD

There are too many spots to count where Luka Doncic has thrived in his NBA career. But two of those spots are in opening games and against the San Antonio Spurs.

Doncic posted a triple-double in last season’s first game and he’s averaged 29.5 points, 10.3 rebounds and 7 assists in his last four openers.

We know he’s going to score the points but with Victor Wembanyama patrolling the paint he may think twice about driving to the basket.

That will result in more kick-outs to open teammates as we saw in last season’s 16 assist 6-27 shooting performance against San Antonio in March.

Doncic posted a triple-double in 3 of 4 head-to-head games against the Spurs during the 2023-24 campaign and 7 of his careers 77 triple-doubles have come against San Antonio.

He’s recorded a triple-double in 19.5% of his games during the last four seasons or once in every five games.

That number jumps to 22.8% over the last two seasons and considering his history against the Spurs and in openers I love his chances of adding another one tonight.
