NBA Player Props Predictions 1: Kevin Durant, Suns UNDER 36.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists (-105) DK
Phoenix Suns forward Kevin Durant is averaging 28.3 points, 6.4 rebounds and 5.7 assists for an average of 40.4 Points + Rebounds + Assists thus far in the 2023-24 campaign.
Durant has cleared this PRA total in 26 of 40 games for a 65% success rate to the over but he’s fallen short in each of his las four games with 35, 24, 33 and 29 PRA.
Durant has some interesting home/road splits as he averages 41.8 PRA on 20.9 field goal attempts at home, but only 31.6 PRA on 14.5 field goal attempts on the road.
Durant is heading back to Brooklyn for the first time since leaving the team, but he will have to contend with the strong defense of iron man Mikal Bridges.
The “Big 3” of Devin Booker, Bradley Beal and Durant will all be on the court tonight and Durant has fallen short of this mark in 7 of the last 8 games in that scenario.
I know it isn’t desirable to take an under on Kevin Durant, but he has been a different player on the road and he’s facing an elite defender.
NBA Player Props Predictions 2: Mason Plumlee, Clippers OVER 7.5 Points (-130) DK
Los Angeles Clippers center Mason Plumlee has averaged 6.2 points per game on 67.3% shooting from the field through his first 15 games of the season.
Plumlee missed the majority of November and all of December with an MLC strain but has worked his way back into form while clearing this total in 2 of his last 3 games with 5, 8 and 12 points.
He’s been thrust into the starting center role as Ivica Zubac is on the shelf with a calf strain since mid-January.
Tonight, Plumlee gets the dream matchup for a center as the Washington Wizards allow the 2nd most points with 26.88/game.
The Wiz also allow the MOST rebounds to opposing centers (18.56/game) which leads to easy put back opportunities.
Plumlee has a great track record against Washington as he’s scored 8+ points in 7 of his last 8 head-to-head games. The Clips are favored by 12 points, so we just need to avoid the blowout for Plumlee to see full minutes and eclipse this mark with relative ease.
