NBA Player Props Predictions 1: LeBron James, Lakers, Over 25.5 Points (-108) FD
The Lakers are down 1-0 in the series, and Los Angeles needs to take home court from the Nuggets tonight. LeBron scored 27 in Game One, and we expect James to put the Lakers on his back in what is a crucial game two. We are projecting James to score 27 more points tonight, giving us an edge at this number and price.
LeBron only bested 25 points in 44% of games this season, but he cleared this number in his last two meetings with the Nuggets. Denver is 6th in points allowed, but given the magnitude of this game and LeBron’s big-game ability, we expect The King to come out scoring tonight in Denver.
NBA Player Props Predictions 2: Joel Embiid, Sixers, Over 28.5 Points (-128) FD
Joel Embiid has scored 29 or more points in 80% of the games he has played this season. In a crucial Game Two against the Knicks, we project Embiid to score 32 points. Embiid scored 29 in Game One, and he has cleared this number in all five of his last meetings with the Knicks dating back to 2022.
New York plays at the slowest pace in the NBA, and they have one of the best defenses, but we expect the former MVP to try to carry his team tonight. Embiid averages 21.7 field goal attempts and 11.6 free throw attempts. Given his usage, our projections, and the magnitude of this game, this is one of the best NBA player props to be on tonight.
