NBA Player Props Predictions 1: Luka Doncic, Mavericks, Over 9.5 Rebounds (-110) DK
Luka Doncic has been in MVP form this season, and he’s been incredible so far in the postseason. In the first round, Doncic cleared this number in two of five games, but that was a tougher matchup to secure rebounds in. In the final ten games he’s played, including heading into the postseason, Doncic has cleared this number in five of them, with six of those games being against a Clippers team that allows fewer rebounds.
The Thunder are 23rd in rebounds allowed and 29th in offensive rebounds allowed. Doncic does not bang in the post, but he has the size and the ability to corral loose balls on both ends of the floor. Doncic has cleared this number in one of two matchups with the Thunder this year, securing 15 rebounds in the game he went over. We are projecting 11 rebounds for Doncic, so there is an edge here.
NBA Player Props Predictions 2: Donovan Mitchell, Cavaliers, Over 27.5 Points (-112) DK
The Cavs are coming off a major victory in Game Seven, and now they hit the road to face the Celtics in the first game of the Eastern Conference Semi-Finals. Mitchell cleared this number four of the seven games in that series, dropping 30, 50, and 39, easily clearing this number.
Mitchell has cleared this number in all four games against the Celtics this season, scoring 44, 40, 29, and 31. The one concern here is tired legs, but given the circumstances, Mitchell should continue his high volume shooting. This is one of the best NBA player props to bet on tonight.
