Bucks vs Celtics Prop Analysis
The Boston Celtics head back to the Fiserv Forum for Game 6 of their 2nd round series with the Milwaukee Buck’s.
The Celtics let Game 5 slip through their fingers, suffering a horrible collapse and ultimately losing 110-107. Giannis Antetokounmpo was spectacular as always, scoring a game high 40 points while Jayson Tatum led the Celtics with 34 points of his own.
The Celtics need to regroup in a hurry and try to push this series to a Game 7 in Boston. Tip off is scheduled for 7:30 PM EST.
Bucks Push To Avoid Game 7
The Milwaukee Bucks displayed the resilience that made them NBA Champions in Game Fives comeback victory. Boston led by 9 and at points double digits early in the 4th quarter, but the Bucks never gave in.
The Bucks exceled on both ends of the floor down the stretch with Jrue Holiday and Giannis Antetokounmpo both hitting three pointers. Holiday displayed his dominant defense and got the better of Marcus Smart, with a block and two steals on back-to-back possessions to seal the victory.
The Bucks will need to improve on their 47% shooting from the field if they want to end the series. However, they did hit their shots when it mattered. Especially Holiday and Antetokounmpo who scored 64 of the teams 100 points in Game 5.
Celtics May Have Let The Series Slip Away
It’s been an amazing series so far with both teams alternating wins and both teams winning games on the road. It really does seem like the Celtics blew a golden opportunity on Wednesday night.
There were some brutal sequences with Marcus Smart missing several key opportunities. Now they enter a hostile environment with hopes to force a Game 7 at TD Garden in Boston. Defense has been Boston’s calling card throughout the season as they have held opponents to 104,5 points a game.
They haven’t been able to slow down Giannis Antetokounmpo but have done a great job shutting down the supporting cast. It’s all or nothing for the Celtics tonight as they look to force a Game 7 at home.
Bucks vs Celtics Prediction
Game 6 is basically a pick’em with the Milwaukee Bucks favored by 1 point and a total of 212. The Celtics blew a 6-point lead with around two minutes left in Game and now they are fighting for their lives.
Their defense was a big letdown in the second half as they allowed 63 points, including 33 in the 4th quarter.
They also wasted great scoring efforts from Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown with 34 and 26 points respectively. Giannis did have his best game of the series with 40 points and 11 boards.
However, outside of him the Bucks have not been efficient on offense, The Bucks are in position to close this one out but they are 1-6-1 ATS in their last 8 at home as a favorite.
Another factor that I can’t ignore is “The Extender” Scott Foster has been brought in to officiate this game and I’m guessing he will do everything in his power to force a Game 7.
As a Celts fan I’m hoping this isn’t the last article I write about them this season and objectively do think they prevail tonight. Give me the Celtics on the -105 money line.
Prediction: Boston Celtics Moneyline -105
