Expert Player Props for Tuesday: Onyeka Okongwu, Hawks Under 12.5 Rebounds + Assists (-130)

Onyeka Okongwu is coming off a 15 RA effort against the Utah Jazz, but he’s alternated over and under during his eight games and now he has a brutal matchup against the Orlando Magic.

Okongwu has gone under this number in 14/14 career games against Orlando with only 9 & 10 RAs in two head-to-head games this season.

In those two games, Okongwu only logged 11 & 7 rebound chances and 6 & 4 potential assists which didn’t give him much of chance to clear this line.

The Magic have allowed the 2nd fewest rebounds (13.9/game) and FEWEST assists (3.2/game) to opposing centers.

Orlando also plays at the SLOWEST pace of play in the NBA which is reflected in the total of 224.5 and that makes it incredibly tough rack up RAs.

The Hawks and Magic are in a log jam in the Eastern Conference standings as they fight for the advantage of landing in 7th or 8th place so this should be a hard-fought game in a playoff type environment.

Expert Player Props for Tuesday: Norman Powell, Clippers 2+ Assists (-140)

Norman Powell has covered this line in 61% of his games this season while averaging 2.1 assists on 3.5 potential assists per game.

Now he’s playing a San Antonio Spurs team that has allowed the MOST assists to opposing small forwards during the last 30 days, and they have allowed 65% of opposing SFs to clear their respective lines during their last 20 games.

Powell has cleared this number in 2/3 head-to-head matchups against San Antonio with 3, 2 and 1 assist on 4, 5 and 6 potential assists.

There is an outside chance that Kawhi Leonard sits tonight with this being the front end of a back-to-back with a brutal matchup against the Houston Rockets scheduled for tomorrow night and Powell has gone over this line 72% of his games without him on the court.

The Clippers are favored by 12.5 points, but every game is important to them as they fight for playoff positioning so if the Spurs can just hang around Powell will see his full share of minutes.
