Golden State Warriors at Milwaukee Bucks Analysis
A potential NBA Finals matchup as the Warriors travel to Milwaukee to take on the Bucks and the books see this as a toss up as the Bucks are barely a -1.5 favorite, and the total sits at 223.5. There will be two key pieces missing tonight as Holiday still remains out with the Bucks, and Draymond Green won’t be playing as he nurses a calf injury. Both teams seem to be in a little bit of a slump so tonight’s game is important for them to gain momentum, and we’ll see if there’s any way to profit off this game.
Klay Returns as Warriors Struggle
Klay made his return against Cleveland, and while they got the win they only scored 96 points and Klay clearly needs to get back into the flow of the game. That win is their only win in the last four games, and they are really struggling without Draymond Green. Green’s presence on both sides of the ball sometimes doesn’t show on the stat sheet, but there is a lack of flow to the offense and defense without him. They’ve averaged 95.5 points the last four games, and while their defense has been solid allowing only an average of 103 per game in the last four, they’re 1-4 against the spread their last five so they’ve been a good bet against. Their games have also been coming under the total, and Tuesday’s game would’ve been another under if not for a 67 point third quarter.
Bucks Not at Their Best
The Bucks are 1-4 their last five games both straight up and ATS and they aren’t getting it done on either end of the court recently. They had a six game winning streak, but lost to Detroit then Toronto before beating Brooklyn, and then lost two in a row to the Hornets. Holiday has been out a few games, and they dearly miss him on defense as Terry Rozier and Lamelo Ball torched them the last two games. They finally started to get some of their role players back last night as Connaughton and DiVencenzo returned only to go a combined 0-14 from the field for 2 points. Those guys will have to play better as the Bucks have been all Giannis, Middleton and Portis recently, and if one of them struggles there’s nobody left to fill in the void.
Golden State Warriors at Milwaukee Bucks Prediction
Both teams are slumping on offense and defense and Golden State will have the advantage on the perimeter and Milwaukee will have the advantage inside, but if either of these teams struggle this game will go under, and I don’t trust both offenses to click for all four quarters. It’s a high total and going over is asking a lot out of two teams missing key players, and trending towards the under.

Golden State Warriors at Milwaukee Bucks Preview from GoldSheet
NBA Finals preview? Quite possibly, as the defending champs meet the former champs, both fighting it out for the top spot in their respective conferences. These two haven’t played since April of last season, with the Warriors taking a 122-121 decision as a slight home dog, and even shorthanded the Warriors are now 3-1 against the number last 4 vs. the Bucks. Milwaukee has been in a trough, losing 4 of its last 5 straight up and against the points while ranking 20th in offensive efficiency in that span. The Bucks have been battling Covid for a while, and could be without PGs Jrue Holiday and George Hill, although G Grayson Allen is probable to return from quarantine for this one. Golden State has also lost 3 of 4 and is just 1-4 in last 5 against the points despite the return to action of G Klay Thompson. Warrior PF Draymond Green has a calf injury and wasn’t with the team in Memphis and is day-to-day although it’s possible is he might play in 2 of the remaining 3 games in the road trip.
