Golden State Warriors vs Memphis Grizzlies Betting Analysis

The Memphis Grizzlies travel to San Francisco, CA for a Western Conference tilt with the Golden State Warriors on Wednesday night. The Warriors continued to alternate wins & losses with a 120-116 defeat at home against the Brooklyn Nets on Sunday.

The short-handed Grizzlies were crushed 133-100 against the Sacramento Kings in their third straight loss. This is the second of four games in a regular season series that Memphis currently leads 1-0. Tip-off is scheduled for 10:00 PM EST/7:00 PST as the nightcap of an ESPN doubleheader.

Memphis Needs To Stop The Bleeding

The Memphis Grizzlies are on their longest losing streak of the season after getting run over by Sacramento for their 3rd straight loss. Without their starting big man Steven Adams on the court, they were out-rebounded 53-31.

Ja Morant didn’t play either and Desmond Bane led the team in scoring with 21 points. Jaren Jackson Jr added 19 points and 5 rebounds while Tyus Jones chipped in with 12 points, 8 assists and 6 rebounds.

Memphis currently occupies the #2 seed in the Western Conference, 2.5 games behind the first place Denver Nuggets. Scoring has never been an issue for the Grizz as they rank 6th with 117 points a game on 47% from the floor.

They are also the #1 rated defense in the NBA while sitting at 10th in scoring with 112.4 points allowed per game. Steven Adams (PCL strain) and John Konchar (concussion) have both been ruled out for this contest.

Home Cooking For Warriors

The Golden State Warriors fell below .500 at 23-24 after losing to Brooklyn on Sunday. Long range shooting may have been the difference as the Nets shot 14-27 for 51.9% from beyond the arc while the Warriors went only 13-32 for 40.6%.

Steph Curry led the Warriors in scoring with 26 points along with 7 assists and 6 rebounds. Kevon Looney recorded a 14 point, 10 rebound double-double off the bench. Klay Thompson had a horrendous performance with only 10 points on 4-17 from the field and 0-7 from three-point land.

The Warriors sit at 10th in Western Conference standings but tied with both the 9th seeded Timberwolves and 11 seeded Thunder. Offense is their calling card as they rank 3rd in scoring with 117.6 points a game on 47.1% from the field.

Golden State ranks 16th in defensive rating and 26th in defensive scoring with 118 points allowed per game. Andre Iguodala (hip) and James Wiseman (ankle) have both been ruled out for this contest.

Golden State Warriors vs Memphis Grizzlies Same Game Parlay Prediction

The Golden State Warriors are 3.5 point home favorites with the largest total of the slate at 246. Warriors vs Grizzlies has become a rivalry over the past few seasons and that will continue tonight.

Draymond Green has been moved to the starting center position as Kevon Looney starts the game on the bench and has recorded 13 & 11 rebounds in his last two games. Steven Adams is out for Memphis, leaving Green plenty of room to camp in the paint and grab boards.

We are going to ask for 7 rebounds tonight, a total he has reached in 7 of his last 10 games. Green faced Memphis on Christmas Day and grabbed 13 rebounds despite Adams being active.

After losing three straight and missing the last game, Ja Morant will well rested and ready for action. We will be looking for 25 out of Morant tonight and he has gotten their in 6 of his last 10 games with 24, 22, 23 & 23 in the other four games.

Morant scored 36 points against Golden State on Christmas Day. The Warriors allow the 9th most points to opposing point guards with 25.03 points allowed per game. Combine those two legs for -130 odds on Draftkings.

Same Game Parlay
Draymond Green 7+ Rebounds
Ja Morant 25+ Points
-130 (2 legs) DraftKings

Andy Lang has lived in Indianapolis his whole life, and like most people from the Hoosier State, he became fascinated with motor sports. That interest in motor sports turned into a desire to make money off the sport through fantasy contests and sports betting. Like most, he took his lumps when he first got started, but now he is one of the most respected NASCAR bettors in the industry. Andy has expanded that sports betting experience to become profitable in a number of other sports, transforming this interest from a side hobby to a major source of income.
