Golden State Warriors vs Phoenix Suns Betting Analysis
The lineups on these two teams are certainly tough to handicap these days as Durant is out, and Draymond Green is questionable tonight.
It looks like he’ll play so I’ll handicap this game as if he’s playing, with Wiggins still out for Golden State. Think the value in this game is actually in the props so here are my best prop bets tonight.
Golden State Warriors vs Phoenix Suns Player PRA Props
Stephen Curry Over 38.5 – It’s a bit of a square pick, but Curry has been on fire and I’ll keep riding with him. He came back from the injury on March 5th and had 35 PRA in his first game back, and then has had 53, 40 and 46 PRA the last three games.
This is a big rivalry game so expect fireworks, and these are the kinds of games Steph loves.
Golden State Warriors vs Phoenix Suns Team Total Props
Phoenix Suns Under 116.5 – The Warriors road and home defense record is stunning this year, but we know that they’re a tough defense at home, and they haven’t let a team score over this total in six straight games including an overtime game.
If Phoenix had Durant, I wouldn’t be confident on this play, but the Suns have limited weapons. The Suns put up 119 against Sacramento, but the Kings are a bottom four defensive team the last 15 games, and Golden State is the third best team in the league on defense at home. Take the under.
Golden State Warriors vs Phoenix Suns Player Assists Props
Chris Paul Over 9.5– Paul has gone over this total in three out of five games, and one game he went under he had nine assists and only played 24 minutes because of the blowout.
Without Durant, he’s the unquestioned captain of the offense and will need to get his teammates good looks to keep up with Golden State. Last game against Sacramento, the team had 30 assists, and Paul had 16 of them.
Golden State Warriors vs Phoenix Suns Same Game Parlay
Deandre Ayton Over 8.5 Rebounds – Ayton has gone over in 12 out of 16 games, and the games he goes under are blowouts most of the time. This should be a close game, and he had 14 rebounds against the Warriors earlier this season and he had 12 last game against the Kings in a close game.
Klay Thompson Over 20.5 points– Klay is looking good as a scorer now, and has gone over this total in 8 out of 10 games.
The unders were blowouts where he played 30 minutes or less, and I don’t expect that tonight. With Jordan Poole struggling, and Wiggins still out, Steph and Klay have been the big scorers getting a ton of shots.
