Heat vs 76ers Analysis

Obviously, Embiid’s absence is the big story line, but it could open up the door for some interesting prop bets, and that’s what we’ll do in this article. We’ll take a look at the team totals and player props and find the best bets to profit off this Game One contest.
Heat vs 76ers Team Total Props
The combination of a good Miami defense and no Embiid leaves the 76ers team total at 100.5 while the Heat will have a total of 108.5.
The Heat went over this team total in the last four games of the series against a bad Atlanta defense, and Philly’s defense loses the rim protection without Embiid.
However, the last two games Philly played without Embiid (including one against Miami) they held opponents to 106 in each game. Slight lean to the over for the Heat. I do like the 76ers over their team total here.
It’s a very low number, and they scored 118, 122 and 113 against this Heat team the last three games without Embiid. I expect guys like Harden, Maxey and Harris to be extra motivated to perform, I’ll take the over 100.5.
Team Total Prop: 76ers Over 100.5 Team Total
Heat vs 76ers Player Props
Obviously, there are a lot of stats for Philly to absorb without Embiid, and I’ll go with Maxey over 30.5 PRA. He had 37 PRA the last game without Embiid, and I think he’s one guy that could have an advantage on offense as Lowry is out.
For Miami, I’ll go back to Butler over his 24.5 point total. He had 27 in the last game without Embiid and he’s a matchup nightmare for Philly as Tobias Harris or Danny Green will have to try and guard him.
Player Prop Play: Tyrese Maxey OVER 30.5 Points+Rebounds+Assists
Heat vs 76ers Same Game Parlay
Harden went over 8 assists in four out of six games against Toronto, and he’ll need to have a big game for Philly to compete.
Expect him to distribute all night to get everyone involved. I like Butler to be close to 30 points tonight as Philly’s defense shouldn’t be able to stop him getting to the rim.
Look for 8-10 points to come from free throws alone tonight from him. Green had a horrible Game One against Toronto going 0-5 from threes, but then made at least two in every game since then.
He’s attempted 7 or more in four straight, and he should get the same production without Embiid, maybe even 1-2 more attempts. He should hit two pretty easy tonight.
Same Game Parlay:
James Harden 8+ Assists
Jimmy Butler 20+ Points
Danny Green 1+ Three Pointers
+119
