Jazz vs Knicks Prop Betting Analysis

The Knicks travel to Utah while the Jazz are in a stretch where they play at home starting on February 2nd and won’t travel til the 16th. The Jazz have won their first two games of that stretch while the Knicks have lost two in a row, and in this article we’re going to be looking at props and under-the-radar bets in this game that the books may have overlooked. Props are a passion of mine, and have been a HUGE source of profit this NBA season so let’s see what this game can provide to us from the prop betting markets.

Jazz vs Knicks Team Totals

I feel like team totals are better than full game totals because if I feel strong about how one team will perform, and I’m not dependent on the other team. The Knicks’ team total is 105.5 and the Jazz are at 113.5, and for Utah not having Gobert has affected their win-loss record, and also their defense. They held Denver and Brooklyn to 104 and 102 points, but before that had been over machine for opponents team totals.

The Knicks’ hard-nosed defense at the beginning of the season is gone, and they’re allowing a lot of points recently as Memphis and the Lakers torched them for 120 and 111 in regulation. For this game, I kind of like the Knicks’ team total going over 105.5 points. Utah is getting credit for holding Denver to 104, but Jokic and Gordon were late scratches, and then holding Brooklyn to 102, but they’re a disaster. The Knicks have gone over easily in three straight, and with no Gobert, the Knicks should be able to have success inside.

Favorite Team Total: Knicks over 105.5 Points

Jazz vs Knicks Player Props

These player props have ups-and-downs as players go on mini streaks of hitting their overs for a brief period of time, and then hitting their unders as the books adjust and the player regresses to the mean. So finding these little streaks can lead to several cashes in a row on the same player, and I like the way Julius Randle is playing right now, and he’s hit his Points+Rebounds+Assists (PRA) in three straight games. It’s 32.5 for tonight, and I like the over without Gobert. He’s had 9 rebounds or more in four straight games and 9 and 7 assists the last two games. Combine that with him scoring 17, 18 and 32 the last three games, I like this one tonight.

Donavan Mitchell returned last game and scored 27 points against Brooklyn to hit his over at 24.5, and that’s what his total is tonight. It’s worth a sprinkle as he scored 27 last game in only 22 minutes because of the blowout while hitting 6-7 three pointers. He won’t shoot that good tonight and he’ll regress, but he’ll play more minutes and will get close to this number, and probably over.

I would also look at RJ Barrett under 5.5 rebounds. He had 8 rebounds last game, but that was an overtime game. Before that he went four games in a row with 4 or fewer.

Favorite Player Prop: Julius Randle OVER 32.5 PRA

Jazz vs Knicks  Same-Game Parlay

Mike Conley to score 10+ Points
Donovan Mitchell to score 20+ Points
Mitchell Robinson 6+ Rebounds
Odds: -106

Robinson has had over six rebounds in 6 out of 7 games, and has played 30 minutes and had 11 rebounds in his last two. Without Gobert, he should grab a ton of boards. Conley has had over 10 points in 10 out of 12 games, and the Knicks have been bad on defense recently, and Donovan Mitchell came back from injury and scored 27 in 22 minutes…he should get over 20 tonight.
