Knicks vs Thunder Analysis
The Knicks return home after a five game road trip, and have to be disgusted with blowing a big lead to Portland on Saturday. The Thunder have lost five in a row, and haven’t scored over 103 points in those games so stats will be hard to come by tonight for OKC. Let’s take a look at the prop market for this game and see if anything jumps out.
KNICKS vs THUNDER TEAM TOTALS
The Thunder’s team total is 98.5 and the Knicks are at 107.5, and the Thunder’s team total is interesting because they struggle to score, but the Knicks have given up over 112 in six straight games. It’s hard to see the Thunder getting over this total though as both teams are low in pace of play with the Knicks being a bottom four team.
If Dort doesn’t score a ton, they don’t have much to offer, and against a terrible Bulls offense they only got to 101 with Dort going for 31. The Knicks team total at 107.5 I don’t like either way as they’ve had two games over and two games under this total their last four. I think the Knicks defense shines tonight as they are a top 10 team defending Dort’s position, I’ll take the Thunder under 98.5 points
Favorite Play: Thunder Team Total UNDER 98.5 Points
KNICKS vs THUNDER PLAYER PROPS
The big one in this game is Julius Randle as he’s been a man on a mission this month hitting his OVER on PRA in six straight games, and scoring 28 or more points in five straight, and OKC will have Bazley and Favors as their bigs which I give a big advantage to Randle on.
Dort can have big games as evident by his 31 point game against Chicago, but he had 15 in the two games before that, and his number is 18.5 tonight. I would lean under as the Knicks can defend that position well.
I would throw a bit on Bazley over 1.5 made threes for +125. He’s made two in two out of four games, and I don’t think he has success inside tonight so I expect an extra shot or two from deep. I’ll ride with Randle as my favorite player prop though.
Favorite Play: Julius Randle OVER 23.5 Points

Knicks vs Thunder Preview from GoldSheet
For a team that doesn’t win outright very often, the Thunder present a pretty compelling recommendation nonetheless. Already, eighteen times this season, OKC has lost games but did not drop spread decisions, gaining 17 spread wins and one spread push in the process, doing more of the same on Friday and Saturday at Philly and Chicago, respectively, straight-up losses along with spread covers.
They’ve been doing all of this for the last two weeks minus top scorer Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (ankle), who scored a team-high 23 when the Thunder beat the Knicks by 15 at the Peake on New Year’s Eve, though in his absence ex-ASU Sun Devil Lu Dort has comfortably assumed go-to scoring duties, netting more than 23 ppg this month and off of a 31-point effort vs. the Bulls.
Technically speaking, it’s a strong case for OKC especially as the Knicks not only aren’t covering many numbers lately (2-7 last nine), but they’re not winning many games, either (3-11 straight-up last 14), a bad trait for a team that’s a substantial favorite.
