Memphis Grizzlies vs Chicago Bulls Betting Analysis
The Chicago Bulls visit Memphis, TN to face the Grizzlies in an interconference clash on Tuesday night. The Grizzlies lost their third straight game 106-103 at home on Sunday night.
The Bulls are coming off a commanding 128-104 victory last night against the San Antonio Spurs.
This will be the first of two head-to-head regular season meetings, Chicago will host Memphis on Sunday, April 2nd. Tip-off is scheduled for 8:00 PM EST/5:00 PST from the FedEx Forum.
Hibernating Grizzlies
The Memphis Grizzlies record dipped to 32-21 on the season after losing their 8th game in their last 8 tries against Toronto on Sunday. They lost the turnover battle by a 20-11 margin.
Desmond Bane led all scorers with 26 points on 10-17 from the field and 4-7 from beyond the arc. Jaren Jackson Jr chipped in with 18 points and 8 rebounds while Ja Morant missed the game with a wrist injury.
The Grizzlies still occupy the #2 seed in the Western Conference but they have slipped to 4.5 games behind the first place Nuggets. Memphis has dipped down to 9th in scoring with 116.2 points a game on 46.9% from the floor.
They sit at 3rd place in defensive rating and 11th in defensive scoring with only 112.6 points allowed per game. Steven Adams remains out with a PCL strain and is the only player listed on the current injury report.
Bulls On The Road
The Chicago Bulls improved to 26-27 on the season after wrapping up a four game homestand 3-1 with a victory over the Spurs. The Bulls dominated the interior with a 49-38 rebounding edge while outscoring San Antonio 74-58 in the paint.
Nikola Vucevic led his team in scoring with 22 points and rebounds with 12. Andre Drummond also recorded a 21 point, 15 rebound double-double off the bench while Zach Lavine chipped in with 20 points.
The Bulls currently occupy the 9th seed in the Eastern Conference, 11.5 games behind the first place Celtics and two games away from missing the play-in tournament altogether. They have a 16-11 record at home but only 10-16 on the road.
Chicago ranks 12th in scoring with 114.8 points a game on 49.3% shooting. They sit at 11th in defensive rating and 16th in defensive scoring with 114 points allowed per game.
DeMar DeRozan is questionable for this contest with a sore hip while Patrick Williams and Alex Caruso are both probable.
Memphis Grizzlies vs Chicago Bulls Expert Player Prop Prediction
The Memphis Grizzlies enter this contest 9.5 point home favorites with a total set at 233. These teams are currently heading opposite directions with the Grizzlies losing three straight and 8 of their last 9 games while the Bulls have won 4 of their last 5 games.
Steven Adams going down with an injury changed everything for Memphis as they lost their rim protector. Nikola Vucevic has been in a groove recently with outstanding production in all three major categories.
His Points + Rebounds + Assists line is set at 36.5 and he has eclipsed that mark in 7 of his last 10 games while landing on 35, 33 & 22 in the other three games.
Vooch is getting consistent shot opportunities with 14+ attempts in 13 straight games. He is on the back half of a back-to-back but played only 24 minutes in a 24 point blowout against the Spurs.
However he still managed to put up 22 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists for a 38 PRA performance. DeMar DeRozan and Patrick Williams are both questionable for tonight but I’m loving Vooch here regardless.
Without Adams out there, Vooch will own the interior while also collecting a good amount of assists on the pick and roll. Let’s keep riding the Vooch train!! Choo Choo!!
