Milwaukee Bucks vs LA Clippers Analysis

The Bucks and Clippers are both on the second legs of back to backs, and both are coming off interesting storylines as the Bucks-Nets/Giannis-Durant rivalry was renewed last night, and the Clippers got Paul George back after months of being out.

The books expect the Bucks to keep rolling as they are -7.5 favorites with a total of 227.5. Let’s dig through the numbers and find a best bet.

Bucks Peaking

The Bucks get the one point win in OT last night which brings them to 12-3 their last 15 games, and they are also 7-3 ATS their last 10.

They are also a half game out of the #1 seed in the East, and there’s always the threat of the Bucks sitting players, but I don’t think they will tonight.

After this game, they play three game in the next six days so there’s time to rest and wins are important now with how jumbled the East is.

They played the Clippers in early February, and won by 24, but after this game they have a TV game against Dallas and then games against Chicago and Boston. This potentially could be a big let down/look ahead spot for them.

Clippers Get PG Rating

Paul George returned, and the Clippers almost beat the Bulls as the game went to OT before DeRozan and his 50 points became too much for the Clips to overcome.

George was ok going 7-20 from the field and going for 22-4-5, but the defense still isn’t there as they’ve lost 9 out of 12 and they’ve given up 121 or more to opponents in their last four losses.

They are 3-6-1 ATS their last 10, and they are pretty close to being mathematically cemented into the #8 seed as they are six games down to Minney, and 3.5 up on New Orleans.

Milwaukee Bucks vs LA Clippers Prediction

The Bucks are coming off two massive wins against Philly and Brooklyn, and this game screams let down for the Bucks so I won’t play the spread, but I will take the over.

The Clippers are just giving up a ton of points and if Milwaukee plays their starters we should see a shootout. Milwaukee’s last three games have gone over this number, so let’s expect a lot of points tonight.

Prediction: Over 227.5
