Milwaukee Bucks vs Memphis Grizzlies Analysis
The struggling Bucks travel to Memphis to take on the red hot Grizzlies, and it will be a tall task for Milwaukee to break out of their slump tonight as the Grizzlies have won 12 out of 13, but they will be playing a bit shorthanded. The books see this as a big advantage for Milwaukee as the Bucks are a -6 point favorite with a total of 227.5. The Bucks might get Holiday back tonight which would be a much needed shot of energy…Let’s take a look and see how we can profit off this matchup.
Getting Bucked Up
The Bucks are 2-6 their last eight games and are coming off a brutal loss where they blew a double digit lead to the reeling Hawks, and that was with Middleton, Giannis and Portis. It’s hard to figure out what’s going on with the Bucks, but they seem to refuse to go inside and dominate with their bigs, and they have Giannis bringing the ball up the court and with Holiday in the lineup Giannis should be able to concentrate on his off ball movement more. The Bucks are 1-4 against the spread their last five games, and they’re also 1-4 over/under with the one over being against the Hawks who always tend to go over.
Grizzlies Keep Rolling
The Grizzlies stumbled against Dallas on Friday breaking their winning streak, but they turned around and beat Chicago by 13 on Monday to get back to their winning ways. Tonight they’ll be without Desmond Bane and Kyle Anderson which will test their depth, and they do have a lot of players who can step and play meaningful minutes, but it will be tough to replace Bane’s production on offense. One thing that might surprise people is that Memphis has been more of an under team in this winning streak. They are 3-5-2 over/under the last 10 games, but even more surprising they are 2-7-1 over/under at home, and that’s what I’m focusing on for this game.
Milwaukee Bucks vs Memphis Grizzlies Prediction
Huge number here of 229, and I’ll take the under. The Bucks have mostly been struggling on offense, and aren’t going over their totals, and Memphis is trending to the under at home, and without two starters tonight I think Memphis might struggle to put up big numbers.
OFFICIAL PLAY: Under 229
Wednesday’s #NBA Notes:
🏀Orlando has covered the spread in four of its last five as a double-digit road ‘dog.
🏀Charlotte is 12-5 against the spread as a ‘dog.
🏀The under is 19-5 in Dallas’ last 24 games.
🏀The over is 26-13 in Houston’s last 39 games.

Milwaukee Bucks vs Memphis Grizzlies Preview from GoldSheet
Milwaukee not looking like a team ready to defend its title lately, losing six of its last eight games straight up and against the points, while falling to 23rd in offensive efficiency and in rebounding percentage in that run. Memphis, conversely, looking very much the role of contender looking for a championship bout in winning 12 of its last 13 games to jump past Utah and pull within 1½ games of Golden State at the 2-seed. Memphis stood up to the Bucks lately, sporting a 2-1 straight up and 3-0 spread mark last three against the champs. Some of the Bucks’ recent troubles have been due to PG Jrue Holiday being down for nearly two weeks, and he remains without a timetable for return, leaving duties to Wesley Matthews, who has himself been playing through a shoulder injury (made only 3 of 16 shots last two games). Not optimal to have holes in your backcourt facing Griz star PG Ja Morant.
