NBA Player Props Predictions 1: Pascal Siakam UNDER 34.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists (-110) DK
Toronto Raptors power forward Pascal Siakam is averaging 22.4 points, 6.5 rebounds and 5 assists for an average of 33.9 Points + Rebounds + Assists per game through his first 33 games of the regular season.
Siakam has recorded 35+ PRA in each of last four games but has only cleared that total in 13 of 33 games overall. The Toronto Raptors just traded OG Anunoby to the New York Knicks for RJ Barrett and Immanuel Quickley.
In the first game with Barrett and Quickley in the mix, Siakam scored 36 points while recording 5 rebounds and 2 assists.
However, it the lowest usage rate we have seen from Siakam in his last 10 games. Siakam will also be playing head-to-head with the Memphis Grizzlies Jaren Jackson Jr who has held him under this PRA total in 6 of 7 meetings.
Siakam and the Raps will also be playing on the road where they are clearly less comfortable. The recent trends say back Siakam on the over, but the books haven’t adjusted the line, and this seems like a spot to zig rather than zag.
NBA Player Props Predictions 2: Collin Sexton OVER 17.5 Points (-110) DK
Utah Jazz point guard Collin Sexton is averaging 15.6 points per game on 46.6% shooting from the field through the first few months of the 2023-24 NBA regular season campaign.
Sexton has only cleared this total in 13 of 34 games so far this season. However, Sexton an uptick in his scoring recently as he’s cleared this total in 10 of his last 12 games while averaging 21.3 points in his last 10 games.
This includes a game against the Detroit Pistons on December 21st where Sexton scored 19 points despite shooting only 6-18 from the field.
The Pistons allow the 2nd most points to opposing point guards with an average of 27.3 points per game. The Jazz are also much more comfortable playing at home and the total is sitting at 239.5.
Assuming we avoid the blowout, Sexton will play the necessary 25+ minutes to clear this point total and cash this ticket.
