NBA Player Props Predictions 1: Trae Young OVER 28.5 Points (+100) DK

Atlanta Hawks point guard Trae Young has only scored 29+ points in 7 of 20 games on the season, however he has scored 30+ points in 6 of his last 9 games.

This will be Young’s first game against the Toronto Raptors this season, but he scored 29 and 33 in his last two games last season.

The Raptors actually allow the 2nd least points to opposing point guards with only 20.56 per game. However, they just allowed RJ Barrett & Quentin Grimes to both clear their respective point totals in their last game with 27 & 19 points.

The game before that, Toronto allowed both Donte DiVincenzo & Duncan Robinson to eclipse their point totals with 21 points each.

Young was ejected last game against the Denver Nuggets after receiving a second technical foul for arguing a call, so I’m fully expecting an inspired effort tonight north of the border. Play it now while it’s still at +100 odds on DK.

NBA Player Props Predictions 2: Jalen Brunson OVER 24.5 Points (-125) DK

New York Knicks point guard Jalen Brunson is averaging 24.6 points per game while only clearing this line in 8 of 22 games.

However, Brunson has scored 23+ points in 14 of those 22 games so he’s consistently close to this total. Brunson thrives on the road, where he scores 26.4 points per game compared to only 22.5 at home.

The Utah Jazz owns the 5th worst defensive rating the league but more importantly allow the MOST points per pick & roll possession in the NBA.

Brunson thrives in the pick & roll where he ranks 6th with 10.4 possessions per game. Recent point guards against the Jazz: Shai Gilgeous-Alexander 30 points, Luka Doncic 40, Kyrie Irving 26, Malcolm Brogdon 25 & 20 and Jordan Hawkins 25.

A lot of those guards mentioned had their minutes limited in Jazz road games. However, the Jazz are far less likely to get blowout at home and Lauri Markkanen could return tonight. This is a great matchup on a low points number for Brunson, let’s take the over tonight.
